Flame of Hope Award

We recognize that for children to thrive and grow they must be healthy. Therefore, we focus on prevention and wellness, so that the children can put their efforts toward growing socially, educationally and spiritually. Too many barriers to health care exist for our most vulnerable children, and the goal of community pediatrics at Georgetown is to eliminate those barriers. The Flame of Hope Award recognizes the individuals who share this mission with Georgetown University Children's Medical Center and who have significantly improved the quality of life of children.
